The Sr. Enterprise Data Analyst will join our team as one of the senior SAS/ Tableau developers for a data-warehousing project to solve business intelligence challenges. The position requires deep technical expertise in SQL, BI tools, ETL, and data profiling. The ideal candidate will have an active BI or NACLC Public Trust security clearance, be a confident leader experienced in performing day-to-day tasks, a critical thinker and self-starter who takes ownership of assignmentsÂ
Security Clearance:     Must possess active BI or NACLC Public Trust security clearanceÂ
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of Business Intelligence development, or data processing/analytical experience or combination thereof.Â
- At least 5 years of work experience in analytical roleÂ
- Extensive experience with SAS development, including the use of SAS/Macro, Data Step, and SAS/Access. Experience of Enterprise Guide and Enterprise Miner / SAS Data Mining procedures a plus.Â
- Strong SQL skills and Tableau development experienceÂ
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and decision-making skillsÂ
- Ability to work as a collaborative team, mentoring and training the client on the various tools and techniques to build a complete Analytics solutionÂ
- Experience with Jira in managing tasks and good understanding of Agile processÂ
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and take the initiative to learn new tools quicklyÂ
- Must have good communication and writing skillsÂ
- Leadership qualities, with forward thinking.  Be able to show the future and benefits of analytics activities to the clientÂ
- Extensive experience in Tableau dashboard design and developmentÂ
- Quality assurance and validation experience, specifically comparing multiple data sources for discrepancies and inconsistenciesÂ
- Extract data from a variety of sources, such as relational database, EDW and Foundry for use in analysisÂ
- Engage with operational business stakeholders to identify key initiatives and execute solutions to business problems using data analysis and advanced analyticsÂ
- Perform quality assurance of reporting and dashboard deliverables to ensure quality of both data and analysisÂ
- Work collaboratively to align business requirements with data and analytical solutions while empowering business to draw insights and analyze data while Identify areas of concern of as-is processes and business dependenciesÂ
- Coordinating and facilitating requirement gathering, playing an active role in the discovery, analysis, value validation, design, and testing phases. Ideate with functional analysts and business process ownersÂ
- Monitors changes in business, making recommendations where analytics can further improve businessÂ
- Create Tableau related Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Â
- Document development for peer reference and knowledge transferÂ
Estimated Salary Range:Â $150,000 - $165,000
The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, education, skills, contract requirements and business needs.
