Responsibilities

Arcfield is seeking a highly skilled Verification, Validation, and Test (VV&T) Engineer to support an Enterprise Space Communications Architecture mission.  This role offers the chance to join our well-established, tenured Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) team, contributing to the planning, acquisition, and integration of next-generation space and ground-based systems.

The VV&T team is responsible for technical support for the planning and execution of verification, validation, and test activities for national assets, associated ground segments, and mission processing systems within the enterprise.  As a technical member of our systems engineering integration and test team, you will play a critical role in ensuring mission success through rigorous verification, validation, and test activities across enterprise-level, system-level, and acquisition milestones. You will interface with diverse stakeholders, including customers, developers, and contractors—while helping drive technical readiness, system performance, and mission assurance.  You will execute tests and oversee readiness events, lead project planning, and assess schedule feasibility and risk, all to ensure successful mission operations.

  • Complete acquisition systems integration tasks, to include regression testing, and provide deliverables in support of the integration of the products, processes, subsystems, and components of complex enterprise systems.
  • Interact with customers, developers, and supporting contractors for technical information exchange, planning, and execution.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to balance mission priorities, user needs, and program constraints.
