About the Role
Mulch & Stone Landscape Supply is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. No CDL is required for this position — just a valid driver's license, a strong work ethic, and a customer-first attitude. You'll deliver mulch, topsoil, stone, and other bulk landscape materials directly to homeowners and contractors across Maryland and Virginia.
This is a great fit for drivers coming from box truck, dump truck, moving, warehouse, or general labor backgrounds who want steady, local route work — no overnight trips, no long-haul driving.
What You'll Do
- Operate a straight truck (non-CDL) to deliver bulk landscape materials to residential and commercial job sites
- Safely load, secure, and unload materials using truck-mounted equipment
- Navigate daily delivery routes efficiently using GPS and route sheets
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers at each stop
- Communicate delivery updates and any site access issues to dispatch
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe truck at all times
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license (Class C / non-commercial) — CDL not required
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable operating a straight truck or box truck (training provided)
- Ability to lift and handle physical work in an outdoor environment
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
- Prior experience in delivery driving, landscaping, construction, or warehouse work is a plus, but not required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Schedule & Details
- Seasonal position, March through December
- Full-time, Monday–Friday (Saturday availability during peak season)
- Local routes only — home every night
- Competitive pay based on experience
