Description

Markon is seeking an experienced Facilities Project Manager to support an Intelligence Community customer by managing facility design, construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout. This role oversees project schedules, budgets, contractors, design coordination, and stakeholder communication while ensuring building systems are fully integrated and projects meet customer requirements for performance, cost, and schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Manage facility design and construction projects, including schedules, budgets, funding, and day-to-day project execution.
  • Oversee contractor performance and coordinate project activities with field personnel, customers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Evaluate and manage project change requests, design reviews, construction documentation, and project risks.
  • Prepare project schedules, status reports, cost information, and communications for customers, management, and stakeholders.
  • Support the CO/COTR with acquisition planning, pre-bid and pre-construction site visits, contractor oversight, invoice documentation, and contract administration.
  • Coordinate integration of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, IT, and telecommunications.
  • Maintain accurate project, work order, and task documentation within MAXIMO throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Optimize project performance, cost, and schedule while ensuring solutions meet customer and operational requirements.
  • Support project closeout and prepare required documentation, including Contractor Performance Reports.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI FSP required
  • Bachelor's degree in any field and 5+ years of facilities project management experience. A high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma with an additional 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Project or comparable project management software.
  • Experience managing facility design, construction, renovation, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, contractors, and change requests.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with customers, contractors, field personnel, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong project management, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet classified customer-specific experience requirements.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community or other federal facilities.
  • Experience with MAXIMO or a comparable facility/project management system.
  • Experience supporting Government acquisition and construction contract administration.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and IT.
  • Familiarity with secure facility or SCIF construction projects.

Salary Range

USD $125,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
