In addition, our staff are eligible for the Federal Student Loan Forgiveness Program!    What the Student Support Assistant does: In coordination with the Behavior Department and Classroom staff, Student Support Assistants provide support as assigned to classroom staff both during the school day and after dismissal.  Additional duties include: Assists in assigned classroom by implementing teaching plans and behavior programs. Provides individualized instruction and supervision for students on and off campus. Assists in large group activities. Assists Behavior Staff when available. Assists with computer entry of behavior data when needed. Checks and restocks supply of point cards, day notes, weekly paychecks, behavior sheets, etc Assists staff involved in special projects, i.e., fund raising, inventories, bulk mailing, field trips, off-campus training and the like.   What the Student Support Assistant brings to the team: Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, education or related field, highly preferred Experience in crisis prevention/intervention required Experience in applied behavior analysis, functional assessment, positive behavioral supports, behavior programming and behavioral counseling preferred
