The ideal Assistant Dining Director candidate will demonstrate extensive expertise in leading a team of fine dining professionals, and possess the ability to ensure exceptional and memorable dining experiences are provided across all dining venues. This individual will oversee various service formats, including banquet and catering services, bar and beverage operations, à la carte dining for both casual and formal settings, as well as brunch and holiday meal service.

Key responsibilities include delivering effective leadership and guidance to the dining team, maintaining a visible and engaging presence with Members, ensuring the highest standards of service and adherence to policies, overseeing administrative functions such as scheduling, ordering, menu coordination, and event dining logistics, managing dining-related financials, and promoting collaboration with other community departments.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of management experience in a fine dining environment, ideally within a hotel, restaurant, or private club setting. Strong organizational and planning skills are essential, as is the ability to interpret instructions and offer effective leadership to a diverse team of dining professionals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with computerized inventory and ordering systems is required. Knowledge of senior living and healthcare environments is a plus.
