A bit about the position:Â The CNA will help patients recover from elective surgical procedures. Under immediate supervision of Registered Nurse (RN). The CNA assists the nurse with any patient care needs. Mainly overnight shifts, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am or 8:00 pm - 8:00 am with occasional day shifts.Â
What can you expect in the role:
- Assists with providing patient care to include I&Os, position changes, vital signs, and linen changes.
- Stock recovery room carts, OR family waiting room and linen cabinet.
- Clean, make beds in ORs, and wipe down all surfaces in ORs.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
- Current CNA license in the state of North Carolina or currently enrolled, in good standing, in a nursing program leading to eligibility to be licensed as a Registered Nurse.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- 2 years of CNA experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Friendly and professional bedside manner.
- Understand legal implications of patient care.
