Material Handler 3rd shift- Chardon, OH

We have an opportunity for a Material Handler 3rd to join our Chardon, OH team. You will support material flow by delivering and receiving raw materials, replenishing kits, transporting finished goods, maintaining Kanban inventory, operating a lift truck, and upholding 5S and Pentair “Win Right” standards across the Chardon campus.

You will:

  • Deliver raw materials as required to production cells.

  • Obtain and maintain lift truck license, required.

  • Pick up finished goods as required from appropriate area.

  • Receive raw materials as required.

  • Support Material Flow through Chardon campus as needed.

  • Be responsible for properly reordering raw materials through Kanban process as required.

  • Implement and sustain adherence to market 5S standards per the market 5S checklist.

  • Demonstrating Pentair’s “Win Right” culture when interacting with customers, co-workers and suppliers.

  • Replenish Kits in market as required.

  • Able to operate a tugger to facilitate timely material to the production area.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have strong communication skills.

  • Have the ability to work at a fast pace and in a changing work environment.

  • Be able to organize and have a strong attention to detail.

  • Be a self-starter and able to work with little supervision

  • Manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Component, assembly and kitting knowledge preferred

  • Lift truck license, preferred.

  • JDE experience, preferred.

Shift/Hours:

  • 3rd shift:  8:30pm – 7:00am Monday – Thursday

  • 10% shift differential for 3rd shift

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $19.50/hr. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
