Mapleview Country Villa is a resident‑centered long‑term care and skilled nursing community committed to promoting independence, mobility, and quality of life. We are seeking a dedicated STNA Restorative Aide to support our restorative nursing program and help residents maintain or improve their functional abilities.

The STNA Restorative Aide provides restorative and rehabilitative support services under the direction of licensed nurses and therapy staff. This role includes assisting residents with range‑of‑motion exercises, ambulation programs, mobility devices, ADL support, and documentation. The ideal candidate is observant, patient, safety‑focused, and passionate about helping residents remain as independent as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out restorative programs such as ambulation, range of motion, strengthening, and positioning
  • Assist residents with transfers, mobility devices, and therapeutic activities
  • Document restorative services accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies
  • Observe residents’ progress and report changes in condition to nursing staff
  • Encourage resident participation and ensure proper use of assistive equipment
  • Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to support individualized restorative plans
  • Promote resident independence and safety during all activities
  • Assist with ADL tasks when needed (hygiene, grooming, dining support, etc.)
  • Maintain equipment and ensure restorative areas are clean and safe

Qualifications

  • Current Ohio STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) certification required
  • Previous restorative aide or therapy support experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to motivate and encourage residents with patience and kindness
  • Comfortable assisting with mobility, transfers, and physical activities
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
