Job Title: Physician Assistant – Family Medicine (Outpatient)
Position Summary:
The Physician Assistant (PA) provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a family medicine outpatient setting. The PA evaluates, diagnoses, and treats acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan while collaborating with supervising physicians and care team members to deliver comprehensive primary care.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history and physical examinations

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions

Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests and lab results

Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations

Provide preventive care, health education, and chronic disease management

Perform minor office-based procedures

Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care team members to coordinate care

Support quality initiatives and population health management efforts
Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
-
Current state licensure and NCCPA certification
-
DEA registration (if required)

Experience in family medicine or primary care preferred

Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
