Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for disassemble, repairing, and reassembling production machines used at the plant. The Maintenance Tech will also be involved in special project duties.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots all manual and CNC equipment to identify problem & perform repairs.

Performs preventative maintenance on all production equipment as specified in the work order instructions.

  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.

-Work with voltage of 240v-480v.

-Diagnose and troubleshoot motor controls on 3-phase equipment and control circuits.

  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand schematics.
  • Designs and implements needed controls for new or refurbish projects.
  • Helps initiate equipment procedures when updates have been instigated.
  • Repairs equipment by removing defective parts, replacing with new or usable, test to see if repair was adequate.
  • Responsible for identifying parts needed for repair and getting quotes to purchase the parts.
  • Relocates machinery when needed.

·         2- 4 years vocational training or a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a related maintenance field. 

·         Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

·         Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, blueprints, correspondence and memos.

·         Prior maintenance troubleshooting experience with production equipment.
