We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable individual to serve as our Extended Day/After-School Programs Supervisor. As the Extended Day/After-School Programs Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operation of our Extended Day program and after-school programs we offer, ensuring students have a safe, welcoming, and engaging place to end their school day. You will also serve as a point of contact for parents, visitors, and outside vendors, communicating professionally to support the day-to-day success of the program.

Position Details:
Title: Extended Day/After-School Programs Supervisor
Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Reports to: Head of School
Schedule: Part-Time; Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm (Subject to change)

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Undergraduate degree from an accredited university preferred
Previous experience in childcare, recreation, education or similar setting preferred
Proficiency in Google Workspace and other school information systems
Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong ability to multitask and work independently or in a team environment
DSS certification preferred (We can start the certification process for you)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Greeting visitors, parents, students, and staff professionally and warmly
Answering and routing phone calls and taking messages
Keeping an organized and welcoming reception and program environment
Overseeing the safety, well-being and behavior of students in the Extended Day program
Supervising Extended Day staff, arranging coverage and adhering to safety protocols
Developing engaging activities, arts and crafts, and games for the students
Maintaining sign-in and sign-out logs, tracking attendance of students after-school hours
