We are seeking a Branch Manager to open our new location in Charleston, South Carolina. The Branch Manager for WAFS is responsible for developing and managing branch operations to increase sales, profitability, market share, and enhance customer and team satisfaction by directing, coordinating, and monitoring all sales activities, branch operations, and team member development opportunities. Responsibilities for this role include Communicate a clear vision for the branch to all team members and ensure that the entire team is working toward the same goals. Manage the branch honestly, follow high ethical standards, and comply with all industry/WAFS regulations/policies. Practice and live the WAFS culture; instill it in the team; and ensure every decision made takes our culture into consideration. Develop team members using Wayne Academy and be a champion for and leader in succession planning. Assess local market conditions, identify current and prospective sales opportunities and work with the VP of Sales to develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans for the branch. Develop and implement sales and profitability plans according to account management principles that ensure the development and maintenance of satisfied customers. Direct all operational aspects of the branch to include new construction, service, alarms, inspections, marketing, administrative, and all other aspects of branch operations based on expert knowledge and experience. Work closely with the home office to establish financial and operational objectives for the branch. The Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring that sales and profit goals are met/exceeded. Ensure that all areas of work performance or departments are properly staffed and directed. Implement programs to increase efficiency and profit margins. Communicate effectively with other branches and senior managers by sharing information on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs. Recommend desirable changes in the policies and goals of the branch and WAFS overall. Interview job applicants and make hiring decisions. Train team members, review and explain work, explain and enforce company policies, counsel and coach team members, develop team members, appraise performance, and make recommendations for changes in status and/or pay. Develop and lead a strong team based on customer service, integrity, and growth. Motivate team members who are “A” players. Troubleshoot and resolve team member issues; work closely with Human Resources when necessary to ensure compliant decisions are made. Ensure the safekeeping of company assets, including structures, equipment, and monies. Visit job sites to inspect work in progress and develop relationships with general contractors, property managers, and other customer types. Regularly review reports on progress, materials used, and costs, and adjust work schedules as necessary. Participate actively in community, business, and industry organizations to build a network of contacts that improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company in the local area. Review budgets, job costs, and status reports as well as all other reports in Q360 to ensure proper operation of the branch. Approve requisitions for equipment, materials, and supplies within the limits of department and job budgets. Manage all customer relationships and quickly resolve any concerns. Attend management conferences, training seminars, and other training opportunities to remain abreast of industry requirements and trends. Represent the company in a positive and professional manner. Performs all other related duties as required and/or assigned. QualificationsWhat are the Qualifications for this position? Excellent and professional communication skills to WOW our internal and external customers. Minimum of 5 years of management experience. Sales, design, operations, and profit/loss experience is a plus. Experience developing and implementing business plans and goals. A motivated self-starter who excels in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards. Professional demeanor. Experience monitoring the marketplace to identify business opportunities. Technical expertise and knowledge of company services. Effective listening, communication (verbal and written), team building, and negotiating skills. Strong leadership and motivation ability.
