We are currently growing and are looking for experienced individuals to support us in this endeavor.   Job Description Under the direction of of the Vice President of Communications, the Director of Fund Development develops new relationships, facilitates new grant proposals, and directs internal/external relations for the organization.  Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Plan and implement developmental strategies on individual, current, and prospective donors. Develop and implement prospect management, cultivation, evaluation, and reporting systems for planned gifts.  Personally cultivate individuals for these gifts. Assist the Vice President of Communications in community outreach. Develop written proposals and business cases for major donor approach around specific program areas, especially in research, care services, and public policy. Study and understand the history, structure, objectives, programs, and financial needs of the organization. Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies. Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization. Collaborate with the Vice President of Communications to utilize social media platforms for fund development. Assist the Vice President of Communications in planning all events that would require fundraising and donor support, i.e. the Annual Awards Dinner. Event coordination and planning for Goodwill-hosted/sponsored events. Perform other duties as directed or assigned.   Qualifications Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; Associate’s Degree with two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must have knowledge of Excel Database software, Adobe Creative Cloud/Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license required.
