We are seeking a highly accomplished Client Success Manager – Insurance to manage strategic enterprise client relationships, drive retention and growth, and ensure clients realize measurable value from our insurance technology solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Configuration Consultant / Implementation Consultant to lead the successful implementation, configuration, and optimization of enterprise insurance technology solutions for clients.

This role is ideal for a client-focused consultant who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. The consultant will work closely with clients and internal Product, Engineering, UX, Sales, and Customer

Operations teams to understand business needs, translate requirements into system configurations, manage implementation activities, and ensure successful adoption.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience with enterprise SaaS implementations, client consulting, requirements gathering, platform configuration, process improvement, and cross-functional program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end client implementations, from discovery and requirements gathering through configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Conduct client discovery sessions and workshops to understand business processes, requirements, goals, and challenges.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed configuration specifications and practical technology solutions.
  • Configure and optimize insurance platforms based on client requirements and established implementation standards.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to identify system capabilities, integration requirements, technical constraints, and potential enhancements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Manage multiple implementation workstreams, timelines, dependencies, risks, and client deliverables.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, issue resolution, validation, and implementation readiness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, standardize processes, and increase implementation efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver client training, demonstrations, documentation, and enablement materials.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented recommendations for client stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams during solutioning, onboarding, expansion, and client transition activities.
  • Identify implementation risks and escalate issues appropriately while driving them toward resolution.
  • Support continuous improvement of implementation methodologies, configuration standards, documentation, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in consulting, implementation, professional services, business analysis, configuration, or enterprise SaaS delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex client implementations from discovery through deployment.
  • Strong requirements gathering and business process analysis skills.
  • Experience translating business requirements into platform configurations or technical solutions.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong project and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, UX, Sales, and Operations teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex client requirements.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms, enterprise software, or insurance technology strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with insurance, benefits, employee administration, or related technology platforms.
  • Experience with configuration-heavy SaaS implementations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data or content migrations.
  • Experience with user acceptance testing and implementation validation.
  • Experience developing client training and enablement programs.
  • Experience leading discovery workshops and executive-level client presentations.
  • Experience managing or mentoring other consultants.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience driving process standardization and implementation scalability.

Within the first year, the successful consultant will:

  • Independently lead complex client implementations and configuration projects.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and become a trusted implementation advisor.
  • Consistently translate client requirements into clear, scalable configuration solutions.
  • Partner effectively with Product and Engineering to resolve complex implementation issues.
  • Improve implementation efficiency through standardization, reusable processes, and best practices.
  • Deliver high-quality implementations that meet client requirements, timelines, and adoption goals.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the organization's implementation methodology.
