Job Overview:
STAG Partners is seeking an experienced Operations Managers to drive Operations in our Tennessee market. This role is crucial in driving the success of our multifamily construction and renovation projects. The Operations Manager will oversee both Construction Managers and Project Managers, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily construction and renovation, coupled with excellent leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the construction and project management teams.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Construction Managers and Project Managers.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that drive efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

Project Oversight

  • Manage the execution of multifamily construction and renovation projects from start to finish.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
  • Address any issues or delays that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all projects meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any concerns.
  • Implement best practices for project management and construction operations.

Budget & Cost Management

  • Develop and manage budgets for all operations-related activities.
  • Track and report on financial performance, identifying areas for cost-saving and improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the Operations department.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on multifamily projects and renovation.
  • Proven leadership experience managing construction and project management teams.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
