Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Charleston WV - Charleston, WV 25311Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Minimum 4 Year DegreeJob Category: Structural Bridge DesignThe Charleston, WV office of Modjeski and Masters, Inc is seeking a Professional Engineer (PE) with at least 5 years of Bridge Design Experience working on WVDOT projects.  What We’re Looking For  Minimum BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University  A minimum of 5 years of related Bridge Design working on WVDOT projects  Valid WV PE license  What You’ll Do Review and check structural design calculations  Perform structural analysis and design of bridge components using analysis software  Develop preliminary details using CAD software and provide information to CAD technicians for development of contract plans. Provide information for design reports. Communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing. Prepare project-related documents and internal correspondence. Perform and check quantity take-offs from contract plans.  Review and check drawings. Use engineering analysis software such as LUSAS, AASHTOWare BrR, LEAP Bridge, MicroStation etc.  Able to learn and correctly apply relevant design specifications, including: AASHTO, AREMA, AISC, ACI, etc Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including field inspection assignments  Why Join Us?
