Compensation/Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly wage, ranges $40.00-60.00/hr, plus overtime & shift differential

Required Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Controls, Industrial, or Computer Engineering preferred, or comparable experience with industrial robotics or machine tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in the industrial automation, OEM, robotics, machine maintenance industry.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to lead controls engineers and service technicians through troubleshooting and machine maintenance
  • Strong fundamental understanding of electrical design practices, machine/motion control systems, electro-mechanical systems, robotics, programming and system integration
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of electrical safety guidelines.
  • Familiar with ISO 13849-1 and IEC 62061 safety of machinery standards.
  • CNC troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge of NC Controllers: Siemens 840D or WINCC
  • Understanding of PLC programming languages
  • Strong communication skills & ability to interact with teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Ability to analyze and diagnose problems in automated equipment.
  • Siemens Step 7 / TIA Portal PLC programming experience, preferred.
  • Willing to work evenings, weekends, and overtime

  • Experience with aerial platforms and working at heights
  • Ability to lift and move materials or equipment weighing up to approximately 40 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and repetitively climb stairs within a manufacturing environment
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide electrical and controls engineering expertise in support of new equipment & system introductions
  • Internal subject matter expert in control systems (Siemens PLC, HMI, Motion Control Systems), system integration, sensors, & electromechanical devices
  • Apply knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and programming
  • Design, development, implement and maintain PLC, CNC and HMI software systems.
  • Commission and debug automation and machine systems.
  • Develops training procedures machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Train new technicians in machine operation as needed.
  • Maintain logs & written records of duties performed
