Overview

Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking an experienced and professional Shift Supervisor to support security operations at assigned contract locations. This position is responsible for supervising security personnel, ensuring operational readiness, maintaining staffing coverage, and supporting compliance with contract requirements, post orders, and customer expectations. 

  • The ideal candidate is a proven leader with strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to motivate and develop security personnel. This role offers the opportunity to oversee daily security operations, maintain workforce accountability, and contribute directly to the successful execution of mission-critical security programs. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision, leadership, and guidance to assigned security personnel. 
  • Ensure all officers are familiar with assigned facilities, post orders, duties, and operational requirements. 
  • Coordinate with site leadership and training personnel to ensure employees maintain all required certifications and qualifications. 
  • Communicate new, revised, or special instructions to security personnel and verify understanding. 
  • Notify the chain of command regarding unusual, emergency, or significant operational situations. 
  • Conduct investigations involving security incidents and prepare reports for leadership and customer review. 
  • Maintain employee records including attendance, disciplinary actions, commendations, payroll changes, and personnel documentation. 
  • Manage staffing schedules and ensure post coverage for vacations, illness, training, and call-offs. 
  • Review reports, timesheets, and logbook entries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. 
  • Maintain and update post orders, operational manuals, and site documentation. 
  • Serve as a liaison with customer representatives and contract officials to ensure quality service delivery. 
  • Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, mentorship, and corrective guidance as needed. 
  • Support operational compliance, workforce accountability, and contract performance objectives. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age. 
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in law enforcement, military service, security operations, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience. 
  • Must meet applicable Interagency Security Committee (ISC) Best Practices requirements for Armed Security Officers in Federal Facilities. 
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. 
  • Ability to successfully pass all required background screening requirements. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Experience supervising personnel on a federal government security contract. 
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and preparing operational reports. 
  • Military leadership, law enforcement supervisory, or security management experience. 
  • Experience managing multi-shift or 24-hour security operations. 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

  • Knowledge of physical security operations, access control, force protection, and security management principles. 
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and personnel management skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and high-priority tasks simultaneously. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities. 
  • Strong organizational and documentation management skills. 
  • Ability to conduct investigations and prepare accurate reports. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. 
  • Ability to interpret and enforce policies, procedures, and operational requirements. 
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Commitment to professionalism, accountability, customer service, and mission success.
