About the Role
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teaching Assistant to support students in Charleston, SC. In this role, you’ll work with a collaborative district and a supportive, therapist-run team to help support students in the school setting.Â

What You’ll Do
Support students with diverse learning and developmental needs in a Special Education classroom
Assist with instructional activities, behavior support, and daily routines
Provide assistance with personal care and activities of daily living when required
Collaborate with a dedicated classroom team consisting of 1 Special Education Teacher and 2 additional Instructional Assistants
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
High School Diploma (required).
Associates Degree (60 College Credits) or Bachelor’s Degree
