Support hotel outlets in handling day-to-day receiving and order fulfillment while assisting Purchasing Manager in daily duties and functions.
- Receive daily food, alcohol, and non-food deliveries from multiple vendors and ensure their accuracy and quality.
- Ensure all deliveries, from all vendors, including mail and freight companies, are delivered to the appropriate outlets and in their designated areas of receiving.
- As needed, receive daily orders from hotel outlets and fulfill and deliver those orders with accuracy and timeliness.
- As needed, perform actions to close outlet orders, using a computer.
- Ensure proper daily product rotation, utilizing the FIFO method.
- Stock Storeroom areas to maintain a minimum par level.
- Organize Storeroom areas.
- Maintain clean and clear receiving areas.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school or equivalent education required.
- Must be able to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, divide.
- Must be comfortable utilizing computer programs such as procurement/inventory software and Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.
- Must be detail oriented and efficient at maintaining detailed, accurate records.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally to hotel leaders and staff regarding Purchasing duties.
- Must be able to perform all duties supervised and unsupervised while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- While performing the duties this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, push, pull, lift, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear.
- The employee must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds throughout day.
- Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate with others, effectively deal with employees, and accept constructive criticism from supervisors.
