The Role
SEE Eyewear is seeking a patient-focused, team-oriented Optometrist to provide weekend coverage in our Naperville location. This position is ideal for an Optometrist looking for supplemental income, schedule flexibility, or an opportunity to work in a fashion-forward, family-owned optical environment.
The ideal candidate is highly engaged, collaborative, and committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience while working closely with our retail team.
Schedule & Availability
- Saturday and Sunday availability required
- Flexible weekend scheduling

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and deliver exceptional patient care
- Recommend lenses and vision solutions based on patient needs
- Educate patients on eye health and vision correction options
- Partner with the retail team to ensure a seamless handoff following each exam
- Collaborate with store leadership to support patient retention and practice growth
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Uphold all state licensing and professional requirements
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active Illinois Optometry license in good standing
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
- Previous retail or private practice experience preferred
