Examples of Duties:
- Develops, promotes and coordinates lessons, instructional programs, and clinics.
- Instructs recreation classes as well as team instruction.
- Choreographs routines or classes.
- Monitors the progress and development of the athletes.
- Assists other organizations (schools, etc.) with lessons and teams.
- Maintains record keeping and other financial record for instructional program(s).
- Monitors the condition of equipment.
- Will require travel on weekends to team events.
- Applies skill progression to all recreation participants, spotting techniques and guidelines as outlined by USAG.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate's degree (AA/AS) in a related field and 4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to earn First Aid & CPR certifications within 6 months of hire.
- USA Gymnastics Safety Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Rec Trac software knowledge.
Other Necessary Requirements:
- May require evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
