ABOUT THE ROLE

 

As a Lead Building Automation Systems Technician here at Honeywell Building Automation (BA), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building automation systems. You will be accountable for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC, fire, and alarm control systems. Your expertise in building automation controls, will contribute to the overall energy efficiency, sustainability, and productivity of our customers' facilities.

 

You will report to the Sr Field Service Supervisor and work mainly near Charlotte, NC. Company vehicle is provided. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, program, and maintain building automation systems, including HVAC, fire, and alarm systems automation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building automation controls.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure the optimal performance of automation systems.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Provide technical facilitation and training to customers and field service engineers.
  • Travel up to 50% within the assigned region as needed.
  • Other duties per business and projects needs.
