If it is possible, you will find it at Atrium Health – the leading community-focused academic healthcare system serving North Carolina and South Carolina.  The Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our rapidly growing healthcare system located in the Charlotte area.  We invite APPs who possess an authentic compassion for patients and a team-focused attitude to apply to join our inpatient neurology service at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC.

At least 2 years of experience as APP is required. Prior Neurology experience is preferred but not required.

Position Details

  • Join a well-established inpatient consulting service with two other APPs and 12 neurohospitalist physicians.
  • Provide neurologic care in a collaborative environment on a well-established inpatient neurology team.  Excellent reputation and known for superior patient care.
  • Full-time position
  • Inpatient-only – 10-hour shifts (7am – 5pm)
  • Weekday and weekend shifts
  • Potentially 7 on / 7 off scheduling, but also open to variable scheduling (several consecutive work days followed by several consecutive days off)
  • Staffing model comprised of 2 physicians and 1-2 APPs
  • Approximately 15 patients per day
  • No hospital call
  • Open ICU
