Community Coach II Full-time IDD

Who Are We:

InReach provides a wide variety of supports and services across the lifespan for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families. We focus on each individual's unique needs and deliver the highest quality services possible by ensuring that each individual receives the right support, at the right time and frequency by a caring qualified staff member in the most independent setting appropriate.

What We Need:

The Community Coach II provides the support necessary to assist adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in a variety of community activities. Activities may be in the individual's home, community, or work site in the Charlotte and surrounding areas.

What You'll Do:

• Work one-on-one to provide support at work and activities in the Charlotte area
• Help customers on-the-job, job coaching
• Documentation of work and activities
• Help customers explore new things, pursue their interests, & help with socialization
• Responsible to oversee customer participation in activities as described in the goal plan
• Maintain the health and safety of everyone
• Provide reliable transportation
• Maintains credentials (training)
• Assure confidentiality

Qualifications and Licensing Requirements:

• One-year of experience working with the IDD population
• Vocational experience preferred
• A high school diploma or GED required
• Willing to provide customer transportation using your vehicle
• Valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record

Hours: Standard hours 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday; hours could vary based on customer needs; Weekends as needed

Location/Travel: will vary depending on customer needs: 28217

Rate: $17.00 per hour
