Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
  • Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
  • Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
  • Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
  • Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work some weekends (could be one weekend a month) and participate in a rotation on call schedule
  • Three to five years extensive working experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting, software installation, new builds and deployments
  • Three to five years working with networking and distributed computing concepts, including the principles of network routing and client/server architecture
  • Design and architecture of web-based applications and server technologies (Linux), Databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, MongoDB, etc.), Storage (EMC, NetApp, S3, etc.), Network (DNS, F5, Load Balancers, etc.), Security (Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, etc.).
  • Experience with the following technologies:
    • Container (OpenShift, Docker, swarm, kubernetes)
    • Web, Nginx, AJAX, Javascript, HTML, XML, JSON)
    • Data Science / Artificial Intelligence Stack (Python, Nvidia, TensortRT, Huggingface etc )
    • CI/CD tools (Ansible, BitBucket, Artifactory)
    • Ability to multi-task and address complex support issues in a mixed technology environment
    • Works effectively in both team member and individual contributor roles

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience and understanding of Natural Language Processing products, not limited to: Python, Instabase, H2O, and other Free Open Source Software supporting Data Science.
  • Project, Process, or Change Management
  • Knowledge of statistics or analytical modeling
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in programming language(s) required for the role
