Responsibilities
- Designs, implements, and deploys cloud platforms to support and meet business needs. Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.
- Troubleshoots software systems on multiple cloud computing platforms and system integration into existing cloud computing platforms.
- Maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms.
- Elevates code into the development, test, and cloud production environments on schedule.
- Provides follow up production support. Submits change control requests and documents.
- Trains and mentors more junior staff on processes and releases.
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex issues. Provides guidance and consultation as required.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintains the security of cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with both internal governance standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Develops and implements automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and scaling of cloud-based resources.
- Establishes and manages disaster recovery and business continuity protocols, ensuring robust backup strategies and minimizing data loss risks.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure management, or cloud operations.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT) or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on expertise with GitHub, AWS Services, Cloud Platform Development, Cloud Based Application Development
- Experienced Senior Engineer, being able to work independently, passionate about solving points of pain for developer community, scrum/agile methodologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud infrastructure, networking, security best practices, and performance optimization
Core Responsibilities
- Platform Development: Contribute to the development of our AI platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency. Support full stack applications to help manage our AI platform.
- Feature Enablement: From prototype to production—presenting proofs of concept, demoing solutions to stakeholders, and partnering with project managers, technical managers, architects, security, infrastructure, and application teams
- Learning and Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in generative AI and Agentic technologies. Document processes, issues, and solutions for knowledge sharing and future references.
- Technical Support: Provide support for users of our platforms to troubleshoot issues, provide cross functional team collaboration, work on enhancements, and answer queries.
- Communication: Communicate with your scrum team, vendors, and clients so they understand the project's technical implications, dependencies, and potential conflicts.
- Observability: Monitor platform performance and implement optimization strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Strong experience with provisioning on Azure/AWS cloud services with Terraform
- Strong experience with AWS CloudFormation, Lambda, Step functions, IAM, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Strong experience and understanding of Python.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms like GCP and Azure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge around AI Concepts such as: RAG, knowledge base, and agents
- Experience provisioning Gen AI cloud services on AWS/Azure/GCP
