About the role

IronLeaf Designs is seeking two experienced CNC & Plasma Machine Operators to join our growing production and fabrication team. These positions are responsible for setting up and operating CNC router and plasma cutting equipment to accurately produce components according to drawings, specifications, and production requirements.

The ideal candidates have at least three years of hands-on experience operating CNC router, laser, plasma, or similar manufacturing equipment, understand manufacturing and fabrication processes, and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Both operators will be expected to work across CNC and plasma equipment based on production needs. We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, able to troubleshoot issues, and comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative shop environment.

Candidates with strong experience on one type of machine who are willing and able to become proficient on the other are encouraged to apply.

What you鈥檒l do

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Set up and operate CNC router and plasma cutting equipment according to specifications and production requirements

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Operate laser equipment as needed based on experience and production needs

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and production documentation

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Load materials, select appropriate tooling, and prepare machines for production

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform machine programming and make adjustments as needed

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and consistency

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Measure and inspect completed parts to verify dimensions, tolerances, and overall quality

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Use measuring and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, squares, and tape measures accurately

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Identify and troubleshoot machine, tooling, programming, and dimensional issues

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform routine equipment inspections, basic daily maintenance, and cleaning

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Deburr, clean, finish, and prepare manufactured components as needed

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist with assembly of parts and finished products

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform welding and light fabrication work when needed and qualified

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Handle materials and finished components safely and efficiently

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Follow company safety procedures and quality standards

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Communicate effectively with supervisors and other members of the production team

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist with other fabrication and shop responsibilities as production needs require

Qualifications

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Minimum 3 years of CNC router, laser, plasma, or similar machine operating experience required

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated experience setting up and operating CNC and/or plasma cutting equipment

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, dimensions, and tolerances

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to accurately use common measuring and inspection tools

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability and willingness to operate and become proficient on both CNC and plasma equipment

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Dependable, punctual, and able to manage multiple production priorities

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment

聽聽聽聽聽聽 CNC and/or plasma programming experience preferred

聽聽聽聽聽聽 CAD experience preferred

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Welding experience preferred

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Laser operating experience preferred
