Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed. Set up and operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and booths. Select powder according to the company's color scheme and specifications, prepare and load powder. Apply powder coatings evenly and accurately to achieve the desired finish. Monitor the coating process to ensure proper adhesion and coverage while adjusting sprayer valves and nozzle as needed. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance. Follows safety protocols and maintains a clean and organized work area. Qualifications Experience with powder coating systems and equipment is required. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols. Physical fitness and ability to lift and move parts. Some parts are up to 30 pounds Good eyesight and the ability to discern color variations. Basic math and measurement skills. Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred. Technical certification or vocational training in powder coating application is a plus
