The mission of the Construction Quality Technician is to ensure the quality of a constructed project, monitor contractor progress, and perform certain quality control and contract administration functions.Â
The applicant will be expected to:Â
- Read and understand construction plans and specifications.
- Monitor and document contractor progress and conformance to plans and specifications.
- Perform field testing of construction materials such as soil, concrete, steel, and asphalt.
- Prepare complete, written reports including daily summaries and test results in a timely manner.
- Communicate with the project team regarding project progress, test results, non-compliant items, quantities, and other findings.Â
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- A valid driver's license
- 1-2 years of construction experience preferred
