All about the role: 


The Tax Analyst is an integral part of the Electrolux North America Tax Team, responsible for supporting the tax team on various U.S. and Canada tax calculations and reconciliations, with an emphasis on tax compliance and execution of other tax processes. This role offers a challenging and dynamic environment for a tax professional seeking to develop broad range of tax skills, allowing for growth and contribution to the overall success of the Electrolux North America group. This position is based at the Electrolux North America headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, and offers a flexible hybrid work environment.

What you’ll do:  

  • Prepare fixed assets workpapers for income and property tax reporting and filings.
  • Assist with sales and use tax calculations and filings.
  • Develop and prepare other workpapers to support state, local, direct and indirect tax processes.
  • Calculate book to tax differences for compliance and provision purposes.
  • Prepare federal and state tax returns ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Support federal tax credits such as R&D credit study.
  • Assist with U.S./International compliance related calculations.
  • Respond to IRS, CRA and state notices and audits.
  • Conduct thorough research on tax laws, regulations, and rulings to identify opportunities for tax savings and optimization.
  • Participate in special projects such as restructuring, acquisitions and global tax planning, as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline and automate tax-related procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on a regular basis to support organizational objectives.
  • Certified Public Accountant a plus
  • OneSource Income Tax and SAP experience a plus

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
  • Experience in tax, accounting or related business field a plus
  • Strong Data Analysis experience
