Speaks Law Firm is looking for a Receptionist to serve as a front-line team member and assist with daily administrative tasks.  This is an on-site position in our Charlotte office and hours of work are Mon-Fri 8:30-5:30. Visit speakslaw.com to learn more about us!

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Operate multi-line phone system and relay calls and messages in a timely manner
  • Welcome clients and visitors with a friendly, professional and positive demeanor
  • Maintain office calendars and track team member birthdays and anniversaries
  • Direct the flow of outgoing and incoming mail, faxes, deliveries, and certified mail
  • Ensure all office supplies are in stock
  • Ensure all public spaces including meeting rooms, reception, bathrooms, and break areas are tidy and free of debris
  • Prepare meeting rooms, meeting documents and arrange refreshments as needed
  • Assist with copying, scanning, faxing, emailing, or note taking as needed
  • Meet with clients for notary purposes
  • Coordinate with finance team and  clients to ensure proper execution of checks and releases
  • Other clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Two (2) years of customer service or reception experience, preferably in a law firm
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Willingness to help others
  • Professional work ethic
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
Compensation:
The is a full-time hourly position starting at $17.00 depending on experience.
