Description

SUMMARY


Assists the Operations Manager with oversight of the daily operations for multiple Attended Donation Centers which includes the donation-receiving process, customer service, safety standards, and ensures site conditions meet organizational expectations by performing the following duties:



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are listed below in order of importance, from most important to least important.



Provides operational support to ADC locations through regular site visits, assisting Attendants with daily activities, answering questions, and ensuring smooth donation-receiving operations.



Conducts routine monthly inspections of each ADC site to ensure compliance with safety standards, proper sorting practices, equipment functionality, site cleanliness, and Goodwill Operating Procedures. Inspection findings are to be documented and communicated promptly.



Provides task delegation and performance coaching and guidance to the ADC Attendants, occasional scheduling, and reinforces Goodwill’s service standards.



Ensures donation counts are accurate and prepares all related paperwork and reports in a timely manner for management.



Responds to donor questions, concerns, and complaints, resolving issues promptly to maintain positive donor experiences.



Communicates needs for supplies, equipment repairs, and facility maintenance to appropriate staff and follows up to ensure completion.



Supports ADC Attendants by performing operational tasks as needed, including unloading donations, sorting merchandise, or covering locations during staffing shortages.



Reports suspected security, safety, or theft concerns to management.



Provides ongoing, coordinated refresher training to ensure all ADC Attendants maintain consistent proficiency in proper bin trailer sorting, with safe, efficient overflow trailer stacking.



Provides support to the Operations Manager with revising and maintaining the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ADC Training Manual.


Regularly travels to various ADC locations using personal vehicle to support operational needs, ensuring timely on-site presence for work-related assignments.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years of transportation or warehouse supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS


Valid Driver's License (Class C), car insurance and reliable automobile and safe driving record (as determined by the Agency's insurance carrier) required.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS


While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly (more than 2/3 of the day) required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The team member frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the day) is required to sit. The team member is occasionally (less than 1/3 of the day) required to stand or walk. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Regular local travel required.
