Hours: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 with rotating weekend on-call

The Admissions Coordinator supports the admissions process by handling screening needs, gathering information, scheduling, verifying insurance and connecting clients to appropriate care. This role requires an understanding of admission criteria for SUD and mental health, strong administrative skills and clinical empathy (brief crisis intervention, assessments) while ensuring HIPAA compliance and smooth care transitions. The Admissions Coordinator serves as the bridge between clients, clinicians and medical staff, handling documentation and ensuring proper coordination for effective treatment. 


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field and 6 months of experience working within a related mental health or substance use disorder field, or in lieu of degree, at least 2 years of related work experience in a mental health or substance use disorder field.
  • Experience in a healthcare, mental health, substance use disorder, or clinical setting strongly preferred.
  • First Aid/ CPR Certification
  • Crisis Intervention Certification
