Role Description

  • Work with business stakeholders to update and manage business continuity plans, including the execution of business impact analyses and documentation of recovery strategies.
  • Assist in the planning of BC/IT Disaster Recovery Testing and complete recovery strategy testing (manual workaround, recovery seat, transference) with relevant stakeholders
  • Perform regular risk assessments of business practices to identify severity and likelihood of loss in case of disaster. 
  • Assist with crisis coordination, data gathering, and business continuity communications during disruptive events
  • Handle routine administration of business continuity software and tools.  Provide metrics and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ability to cultivate internal network of support partners in Cyber, IT, Third-Party and Operational Resilience to spot operational gaps and vulnerabilities and enhance the overall resilience of the firm.
  • Establish relationships with business stakeholders across all departments and regions to foster collaboration and completion of BCM initiatives. 
  • Familiarity with data tools (Microsoft Office Suite) required.  Familiarity of Crisis Communication Tools (Everbridge) and Planning Tools (Fusion) a plus.
  • Understanding of business processes to drive improved execution of BCM responsibilities. 
  • 3 to 5 plus years of Business Continuity experience preferred.  Exposure to Financial Institutions a plus.
