Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and maintain balanced registers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food and beverage pairing, catering events, or banquet service to deliver seamless hospitality.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems; experience with cashiering and cash handling is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and accurate measurement of ingredients.
- Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector; retail math skills are advantageous.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
