Your Relationships Are Worth Something. Build a Career Around Them.

If you've spent the last several years building relationships in the multifamily housing industry, you already understand something most salespeople don't:

Trust opens doors.

You know the property managers.

You know the regional managers.

You know the vendors.

You understand how decisions get made—and how valuable it is to have the right partner when something goes wrong at a property.

RestorePro is looking for a Business Development Manager to turn that understanding and relationship-building ability into a long-term sales career throughout the Greater Charlotte market.

This isn't about starting from scratch in an industry you've never seen before.

We're especially interested in someone who already understands the multifamily housing ecosystem and is ready to take those relationships further.

The Opportunity

RestorePro has served the Greater Charlotte Metro Area since 1998 and has completed tens of thousands of restoration projects.

We're looking for someone who can expand our presence across multifamily housing while also developing relationships throughout the broader commercial property market.

You'll represent RestorePro with professionals including:

  • Property Managers
  • Regional Property Managers
  • Multifamily Owners & Operators
  • Apartment Community Leadership
  • Commercial Property Managers
  • Facility Directors
  • Commercial Real Estate Professionals
  • Insurance Professionals
  • Plumbers & HVAC Contractors
  • General Contractors
  • Other Strategic Referral Partners

The objective is straightforward:

Make RestorePro the company these professionals already know and trust before they ever experience a property emergency.

Why Multifamily Matters

When an apartment community experiences a major water loss, fire, storm event, or other property emergency, the consequences go far beyond repairing a building.

Residents are affected.

Operations are disrupted.

Ownership wants answers.

Management teams need communication.

Documentation matters.

Speed matters.

And the restoration partner they choose matters.

That's why relationships established before the loss are so valuable.

Your job is to build those relationships.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

This is a field-based business development role.

You'll spend your time throughout Greater Charlotte:

  • Developing relationships with multifamily property management professionals
  • Prospecting new commercial and referral accounts
  • Meeting property and regional managers face-to-face
  • Building relationships with ownership and management groups
  • Developing partnerships with plumbers, HVAC contractors, and other service providers
  • Conducting emergency response planning meetings
  • Attending apartment association, commercial real estate, and business networking events
  • Strengthening existing referral relationships
  • Following up consistently with prospects and partners
  • Managing activity and opportunities through CRM
  • Working closely with operations when opportunities become active projects
  • Building a measurable pipeline of commercial and referral business

This isn't a role where success comes from sitting behind a desk.

You'll be visible in the market.

What Success Looks Like

This role isn't about collecting business cards.

It's about turning professional relationships into market position.

Success means:

  • Expanding RestorePro's presence throughout the Charlotte multifamily community
  • Developing relationships with key property and regional managers
  • Opening doors with management companies and commercial organizations
  • Building a strong network of strategic referral partners
  • Conducting consistent meetings with qualified decision-makers
  • Creating emergency response planning opportunities
  • Developing a healthy, measurable pipeline
  • Generating revenue from the relationships you've built
  • Becoming a recognized resource within your market

The ultimate goal is simple:

When a multifamily or commercial property has a loss, RestorePro is already the first call.

Why RestorePro?

There's a major difference between selling relationships for an unproven company and representing an organization that's been operating in the market for decades.

RestorePro has served Greater Charlotte since 1998.

You'll have operations, marketing, leadership, proven systems, and an established restoration organization behind the relationships you create.

That means you can walk into the market with credibility—and know that when you create an opportunity, there's a team behind you capable of delivering.

Put Your Network to Work

You've spent years learning an industry.

You've built relationships.

You've developed credibility.

Now you can use that experience to build a territory, create significant income, and become a major part of RestorePro's growth throughout Greater Charlotte.

If you have 3–5 years of multifamily housing relationship experience—particularly in sales or business development—we'd like to talk with you.

Apply today to learn more about joining RestorePro as our next Business Development Manager.

The Candidate We're Looking For

We're looking for an established business professional who understands how relationships create revenue.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • 3–5 years of experience developing relationships within the multifamily housing industry, ideally in a sales or business development capacity
  • Existing familiarity with property managers, regional managers, management companies, apartment communities, or multifamily ownership groups
  • B2B outside sales or business development experience
  • A track record of opening new relationships and developing accounts
  • Strong face-to-face communication skills
  • The ability to network confidently with senior decision-makers
  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • Experience managing a territory and pipeline
  • Comfort using CRM and working within a structured sales process
  • The independence to manage a field territory without needing constant supervision

Restoration experience is not required.

Multifamily knowledge and relationships are more important.

We can teach restoration.

It's much harder to teach someone how to understand a market, earn trust, and build genuine professional relationships.

Other Experience That Can Translate

While multifamily experience is strongly preferred, relevant backgrounds may include:

  • Multifamily Vendor Sales
  • Property Management Services
  • Apartment Industry Sales
  • Facility Services
  • Commercial Property Services
  • Construction & Building Services
  • HVAC or Plumbing Industry Sales
  • Commercial Insurance
  • Commercial Real Estate Services
  • B2B Territory Sales
  • Account Management

If you've spent years selling into multifamily rather than working directly for a property management company, we want to hear from you too.

  • Uncapped Commission
  • Six-Figure Income Potential
  • Company Vehicle
