 Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to support our architecture team during the construction phase of projects.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is interested in how buildings come together. You’ll work closely with Project Architects and CA Project Managers to help keep projects organized, communicate with project teams, and support the construction process.
We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in construction and architecture.
Direct Supervisor:
CA Senior Project Manager or CA Project Manager
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Help track and organize RFIs, submittals, and change ordersÂ
- Assist with field visits and document construction progressÂ
- Maintain project records, logs, and documentationÂ
- Support communication between architects, consultants, and contractorsÂ
- Assist with reviewing drawings and construction documentsÂ
- Help with quality control efforts during constructionÂ
- Assist with basic code research and coordination when neededÂ
- Support preparation of reports, plans, and other project deliverablesÂ
- Assist with ordering and organizing material samplesÂ
- Perform other related tasks as needed
Requirements
Â
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic understanding of construction drawings or a willingness to learnÂ
- Strong organization and communication skillsÂ
- Comfortable learning new software and toolsÂ
- Familiarity with programs like Revit, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Office is a plus, but not required
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Construction Science preferred.
-  0–2 years of experience in architecture, construction, or a related field (internships count).
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.Â
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- May require travel.
- Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
- Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the job site.Â
