“I can succeed as a Core Operations ADAPT Senior Associate at Capital Group.”
As a Core Operations ADAPT Senior Associate, you’ll play a critical role on our team by supporting the accurate and timely calculation, oversight, and delivery of fund Net Asset Values (NAVs), income distributions, expenses, trades, and related operational outputs. Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing daily and periodic tasks, maintaining strong controls, resolving issues with urgency, and supporting team priorities tied to operational excellence, client outcomes, simplification, scale, and the associate experience. You will help ensure that ADAPT continues to deliver accurate fund distributions and NAVs every day while contributing to process improvement, knowledge management, data quality, outsourced provider oversight, and cross-functional collaboration. You will also be expected to build expertise across ADAPT’s operating model, communicate clearly with partners and leaders, and support a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.

You have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a relevant field of study, a CPA license is a bonus. Public accounting experience is preferred but not required.
You have foundational knowledge of mutual funds, investment vehicles, post-trade operations, fund accounting, and the importance of accurate and timely NAV production.
You have a solid and growing understanding of fund accounting responsibilities, including daily NAV calculation and dissemination, income distribution activities, expense processing and oversight, trade accounting, and third-party provider oversight.
You have experience preparing, reviewing, or supporting operational outputs in a deadline-driven environment, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, quality review, and risk mitigation.
You are comfortable working with systems, data, procedures, and controls, and you can identify opportunities to simplify work, strengthen documentation, improve metrics, or reduce operational risk.
You have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; you can assess root causes, evaluate downstream impacts, escalate appropriately, and help resolve issues that could affect NAV accuracy, client outcomes, or team deliverables.
You are highly detail oriented and demonstrate accuracy, ownership, and accountability in a fast-paced production environment where daily deadlines and strong controls are essential.
You work well under pressure, can balance daily production with project and training responsibilities, and remain focused when priorities shift or workload demands change.
You communicate effectively with associates, analysts, managers, outsourced providers, and cross-functional partners, tailoring complex operational topics into clear, actionable updates for the right audience.

Charlotte Base Salary Range: $65,947-$105,515‎Â

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
