Job DetailsJob Location: Charlotte, NC 28273Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayJob Description: The Plumbing Counter Sales position aims to boost sales and customer satisfaction by providing efficient and courteous assistance to returning customers, walk-ins, handling warehousing duties, and ensuring the acquisition of necessary products. Job Duties: Service customers at the counter by taking orders and entering them into the system accurately; give priority to regular accounts. Use electronic and published catalogs to provide product, pricing and availability information to customers. Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sales items as well as new products Handle customer complaints and returns, while showing a positive attitude Work with other departments to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner Pulling, filling, packing and setting up orders for delivery and pickup. Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person. Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customer to coordinate deliveries/ pick-up. Attend product knowledge meetings as required by management. Present a neat and professional image. Keep merchandising and counter areas clean and attractive Keep counter area inventory stocked; remove or add inventory items to stimulate impulse sales; remove discontinued items from the sales floor Assist in scheduled physical inventory counts Assist in keeping facility secure.
