Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment? Hunter Automotive Group is looking for a Deal Billing Clerk to support our dealership operations by accurately managing the accounting pieces of our vehicle deals. You will ensure all financial documentation is complete, compliant, and ready for funding in a timely manner.


Automotive accounting or dealership experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidate who brings strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a positive attitude.


As our Deal Processing Clerk, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the Sales and Finance teams by acting as the bridge to the accounting office, ensuring that every deal is billed out accurately and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and process vehicle deal paperwork from the Sales and Finance Departments
  • Perform full billing of vehicle deals, including verifying all sale/cost allocations for products and miscellaneous fees.
  • Ensure all deal documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with state and lender requirements.
  • Verify customer, lender, and vehicle information for precision.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in paperwork or accounting entries.
  • Maintain organized deal files and records.
  • Manage multiple deals simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Provide administrative support to dealership management as needed.
  • Maintaining multiple accounting schedules for completion and accuracy.


What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of dealership accounting experience is required for this role.
  • Entry-level accounting experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy—you enjoy ensuring the numbers balance.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Proficiency with office software (Excel, Word; experience with dealer management systems is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
