Job Summary:
Supports the organization’s commitment to a safe and healthy work environment by assisting with the implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices. Contributes to the identification and resolution of potential hazards to minimize risk and ensure compliance with established policies. Collaborates with team members to promote awareness and understanding of safety protocols across the workplace. Maintains accurate records and documentation to support continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance. Enhances the effectiveness of safety initiatives by providing timely communication and support to employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Assists in conducting routine inspections, audits and other administrative EHS tasks including onboarding.
Supports the investigation and documentation of incidents, near-misses, and workplace hazards.
Maintains accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance activities.
Communicates safety procedures and updates to employees to promote understanding and adherence.
Coordinates the distribution and tracking of personal protective equipment and safety materials.
Participates in emergency response drills and supports the implementation of corrective actions.
Contributes to the preparation of reports and summaries for internal review and compliance purposes.

Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:
0 - 4 years of experience in EHS support roles within corporate, industrial, consulting environments, or a related field required.

Certifications and Licenses:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction training preferred.
