Events Graphic Designer

The Role 

We are currently looking for an energetic, hands-on, and motivated designer to join the Creative Team as a Graphic Designer focused on bringing our event spaces to life! This position will be involved in creating high-quality visual assets to support the Operations Department with on-site graphics for events such as the Kentucky Derby, NBA, Formula 1, NHL , and more!  

Candidates should also have previous experience designing large-scale spaces for capacities up to 1,000 people per venue. 

Responsibilities 

• Take the lead in creating graphics for venue spaces by collaborating with the operations team on the vision and brand essence of the space.  

• See through creative projects for each event from start to finish ensuring it meets brand guidelines as well as creating an exciting space for our customers. 

• Creating designs for a variety of elements including but not limited to table graphics, wall panels, window wraps, menu designs, credentials, signage, guest ticket packaging, lanyards and supporting projects all while adhering to brand guidelines  

• Review floorplans/photos to ensure the space is cohesive, exciting, and appealing 

• Working independently and/or with the team on a variety of projects simultaneously 

• Prioritizing and managing multiple projects effectively and efficiently 

• Ability to adhere fully to multiple brand guidelines 

• Some motion graphics and animation 

Requirements 

• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in a Graphic Designer Role  

• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier & After Effects 

• Strong print background 

• Ability to work directly with print vendors 

• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite 

• High attention to detail 

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while being able to multi-task and work with cross-functional teams all while maintaining a high quality of work 

• Resourceful, innovative, creative, and flexible 

• Organized, accurate and deadline-oriented 

• Friendly personality and the ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues 

• Strong communication skills 

• Strong desire to learn and further develop your skills  

• Killer portfolio that showcases your expertise 

• Possesses a solid grasp of all basic design principles 

• Self-motivated and able to contribute fresh ideas
