This is a key leadership position for someone who knows the automotive business, understands how to build and motivate a successful BDC team, and isn't afraid to jump in, coach from the front, and hold the team accountable for results. What We're Looking For Previous automotive BDC management experience is required. Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing BDC team. Strong understanding of automotive internet lead management and CRM processes. Experience managing BDC KPIs, appointment ratios, show rates, and conversion rates. Strong leadership and coaching skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable using data and reporting to identify opportunities and improve performance. A hands-on leader who leads by example and holds themselves and their team accountable. Manage the day-to-day operations of the Business Development Center. Monitor inbound and outbound calls, internet leads, texts, emails, and other customer communication channels. Drive appointment volume while improving appointment set, show, and sold rates. Monitor lead response times and ensure consistent, timely customer follow-up. Track KPIs and individual team member performance. Listen to calls and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Develop processes and strategies to improve productivity, conversion rates, and customer experience. Ensure CRM processes, reporting, and follow-up standards are consistently followed. Recruit, train, and develop BDC representatives. Work closely with Sales Managers, General Managers, Marketing, and other departments to maximize every opportunity.
