POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
The Training Manager is responsible to deliver, reinforce and communicate enterprise-wide training, programming and certifications for ESA Company Owned and Franchise hotels. They are the training subject matter experts, sharing information on changes to enterprise curricula, results of learning metrics/compliance, training resources, and facilitation of in person or virtual training/programming. The Training Manager is also responsible for providing training, on-going support, in person, virtually or other (e.g., communication) to the ESA Company Owned and Franchise community as assigned based on strategy and business needs. They act as representatives and brand ambassadors for ESA during all interactions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
.Execute brilliantly as an expert facilitator for Enterprise training programs, demonstrating professional adult learning facilitation skills and techniques. (Virtually and In-Person)
.Working as a subject matter expert, to share updates regarding learning metrics, including required training completion, as well as curriculum updates, scheduled trainings, etc.
.Re-enforce and influence desired behaviors in others, this includes reinforcement of training resources, job aids, self-paced learnings, key take aways from programs, which could be used when there are gaps in performance.
.Act as the ESA brand champion, opening and supporting on-going training needs for Franchise hotels as required based on business needs.
.Be self-motivated to ensure SME level knowledge on all training programs, processes and systems connected to existing or new trainings
.Demonstrate financial acumen regarding all personal travel and coordination of program planning as required, following ESA policies, and remaining within budget.
.Independent proactive approach to communications, preparedness and execution on assigned programs and trainings.
.Remain engaged and up to date on internal team processes and communications
.All other duties as needed or required.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
.Associate Degree or Equivalent in Experience.
.2+ years as a facilitator of Enterprise learning programs, preferably in Hotel Operations or service-related industry
.Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions and operate electronic learning systems.
.Proven ability to effectively write, teach and communicate procedures, policies, and standards.
.Demonstrate adult learning training methods across various audience types and group sizes; one on one to large groups of 50+ in-person and virtually.
.Ability to organize multiple projects; manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Well-developed planning and organizational skills.
.Strong influence skills and demonstration of Emotional Intelligence to build effective working relationships.
.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word)
.Experience with virtual delivery platforms (Zoom, Teams, LMS, Classroom)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
.Must be able to speak using a lavaliere or microphone when facilitating large in person groups events.
.Must be able to travel using various transportation methods and have a valid driver s license (car, train, plane, bus, taxi/uber)
.Must be able to sit for long periods of time, looking at and working on a computer and phone with the ability to speak, hear and talk to others.

Work Environment
.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate when traveling to properties or training venues.
.May be exposed to active construction, mechanical work, fumes, strong odors.
.When working from a remote office must maintain a professional environment, including presentation of self at all times

TRAVEL REQUIRMENTS
.The employee is required to travel as necessary, often overnight to fulfill the requirements of the position, and most times travel will span several days including occasional weekend travel.
.Travel estimated between 50% -80% varying month to month, actual time will be based on business needs.
