Helms Home Care is searching for registered nurses who can provide infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes and desire to serve patients with compassion and personalized care. Our agency provides in-home infusion care to patients of all ages in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, West Virginia, Georgia, Maryland and Kentucky. Benefits: Competitive pay Mileage reimbursement Free supplies are provided for basic lab draw and infusion-therapy Multiple visits available to choose from Simple IRA with 3% Company Match Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance  PTO  User-friendly technology to access schedules and make visit notes Great opportunities for advancement and health benefits Responsibilities: As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws Provide patient education on self-administration of medication Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly QualificationsRequirements: Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
