Position: Housekeeper, full-time

Schedules:

Independent Living Housekeeper: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30pm and occasional weekends.

Health Center Housekeeper: 4 week days and every other weekend from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Pay: Starting at $15/hour, based on experience

Position Summary:

The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focused cleaning enthusiast to join our team! This position is responsible for cleaning services to residential homes. Our staff performs a variety of housekeeping and cleaning duties that exceed industry guidelines and leave a lasting impression on everyone they serve. Primary Responsibilities:

Performs cleaning services to residential homes daily.
Performs scheduled annual deep clean.
Cleans floors, furnishings, walls, windows, woodwork, and specified items. High and low dusting, sweeps, dry and wet mops, vacuums carpets and rugs.
Cleans all bathrooms, scours, and polishes tubs, sinks, mirrors, and similar equipment.
Cleans and polishes glass panels, doors, and partitions.
Straightens and rearranges furniture, water plants, empties and washes wastebaskets.
Cleans building utility areas, closets, offices, lounges, lobbies, entrances, halls, meeting rooms, and stairways.
Removes soiled laundry and returns clean laundry to residences in an organized manner.

Qualifications:

Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend written and oral instructions in English.
Must be able to frequently stand, stoop, bend, squat throughout a shift, and be able to stand/walk for up to 70% of the workday.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds without assistance, and push/pull on a cart.
Must be age 16 or older.
