Inside Sales Position

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our electrical service and maintenance team in Charlotte, NC. This role supports our sales and operations teams by generating and qualifying leads, scheduling appointments, and maintaining strong relationships with commercial and industrial customers.

The ideal candidate has B2B inside sales experience, is comfortable making outbound calls, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced service environment.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective commercial and industrial customers
• Respond to inbound inquiries for electrical service, maintenance, and repair work
• Qualify leads by gathering project and service details
• Schedule appointments for sales representatives and service teams
• Follow up consistently with prospects and existing customers
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system
• Coordinate with branch staff, sales, and operations teams
• Build long‑term customer relationships through professional communication
• Stay up to date on service offerings and industry trends

Requirements

• 3–5 years of inside sales experience (B2B preferred)
• Experience in electrical services, construction, trades, or service‑based sales is a plus
• Strong phone communication and customer service skills
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and sell over the phone
• Comfortable speaking with facility managers, contractors, and business decision‑makers
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills
• Self‑motivated and results‑driven
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• College degree, technical diploma, or equivalent work experience
