Summary:
Industry-leading distributor of engineered equipment seeks an Inside Sales and Service Supportposition for an immediate opening in our Charlotte, NC office. We are a well-established firm that does business with large manufacturing sites in the Southeast. Our parent company has investments across the United States and Canada and continues to support us with the resources needed to grow the business.

Our Charlotte operation has been in place for many decades. We specialize in the sale and service of compressed air systems, thermal fluid heaters, rotating equipment, and filtration.

The successful applicant will support our field sales and service business by coordinating jobs from purchase order to invoice as Service Support and supporting the outside sales team.Â
Â
Daily tasks may include:
- Quoting parts as well as service
- Entering new orders
- Expediting parts orders
- Maintaining and cultivating positive customer relationships
- Providing price and availability on any standard or specialty items directly to customers
- Expedite orders and maintain contact with customers and suppliers.
- Follow up on orders to ensure critical deliveries.
- Handle all inquiries/contacts in a professional manner.
- Work in concert with our outside sales team; funnel leads/opportunities to the sales team
- Resolve product issues or determine product needs over the phone or via e-mail
- Communicate with customers and colleagues to arrange service schedules
- Invoicing work that has been completed
- Coordinate the shipment of rental equipment
- End-of-month reporting for hours worked at key customer sites for safety records
- Arranging safety training for Technicians as Service Support
- Maintain files in Salesforce and Field Service Management with Service Coordinator as needed.

Job Requirements:
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency; Salesforce/FSM experience a plus
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Candidates with relevant degrees or craft certification are encouraged to apply
- Good research skills, using existing files (paper and electronic) from our records
- Ability to work under a deadline
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous requests

- Ability to work 8 AM to 5 PM Monday-Friday at the Shopton Road Charlotte, NC office.
